This large play structure is part of a recent playground upgrade at St Joseph’s School, Rosebery. As well as the play structure a mix of play components to suit the user age group were installed.
This upgrade is another of over 2000 stimulating and challenging playgrounds and outdoor recreation areas Island Recreation have assisted clients to create over 20 years.

Another large playground redevelopment which includes 2 play structures for the junior and senior areas, 4 bay swings and a shade sail area with tables and benches. Landscaping and softfall gave it the finishing touches.
There are new grants added to the Grants page on our website. The Schools First Awards are for school-community partnerships that can demonstrate improved student outcomes as a result of their partnership..

Swings are a timeless item of play equipment in schools, parks & backyards.In recent times there has been a misconception in some areas swings are non compliant. This is not true. A system of installing seats in front of the swing sets creates an orderly use of the swings and means all children have a fair go on the swings. With this system up to 50 children can be involved using the swings at any time.
